Minister of Defence Andris Sprūds (from right), historian Jānis Tomaševskis of the War and Military History Research Department of the History Department of the Latvian War Museum (LKM), Mārtiņš Mitenbergs, Head of the Public Education and Communication Department of the Latvian Museum of History, and Colonel Aivars Krjukovs, Commander of the National Armed Forces Home Guard, take part in an event at the Latvian Museum of History, during which the War of Independence commemorative bonfire is lit and an exhibition of military vehicles and equipment of the Latvian and allied armed forces is on display.
