1991. gada barikāžu dalībnieku biedrības prezidents Renārs Zaļais (no kreisās), Ministru prezidente Evika Siliņa, Valsts prezidents Edgars Rinkēvičs, Saeimas priekšsēdētājas biedre Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica un 4. maija Deklarācijas kluba prezidente Velta Čebotarenoka piedalās barikāžu 35.gadadienai veltītā konferencē "1991.gada janvāra barikādes kā tautas pretestības totalitārajam režīmam izpausme un mācības mūsdienām", kurā vēsturnieki, tiesību un drošības eksperti akcentēs barikāžu pieredzi kā unikālu nevardarbīgas tautas pretestības piemēru un pamatu mūsdienu Latvijas valstiskuma un aizsardzības spēju stiprināšanai.
