4. maija Deklarācijas kluba prezidente Velta Čebotarenoka piedalās barikāžu 35.gadadienai veltītā konferencē "1991.gada janvāra barikādes kā tautas pretestības totalitārajam režīmam izpausme un mācības mūsdienām", kurā vēsturnieki, tiesību un drošības eksperti akcentēs barikāžu pieredzi kā unikālu nevardarbīgas tautas pretestības piemēru un pamatu mūsdienu Latvijas valstiskuma un aizsardzības spēju stiprināšanai.

On May 4, Velta Čebotarenoka, president of the Declaration Club, will participate in a conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the barricades, entitled "The January 1991 Barricades as an Expression of Popular Resistance to Totalitarian Rule and Lessons for Today," in which historians, legal and security experts will highlight the experience of the barricades as a unique example of non-violent popular resistance and a basis for strengthening Latvia's statehood and defense capabilities today.
