Ministru prezidents Ivars Godmanis pēc ekspertu sanāksmes, kurā runāja par Korupcijas novēršanas un apkarošanas biroja (KNAB) priekšnieka iecelšanas kārtību. Pēc Godmaņa domām, KNAB vadītājam jābūt nepolitiskam, ar pieredzi operatīvās darbības jomā, kā arī ar pielaidi valsts noslēpumam.
