NATO ģenerālsekretārs Jāps de Hops Shēfers Melngalvju namā saka uzrunu NATO sanāksmes starptautiskajā zinātniskajā konferencē "Pārveidojot NATO jaunajā globālajā laikmetā". Shēfers uzsvēra, ka joprojām nav pārvarēts aukstā kara laikā izveidotais Eiropas sadalījums. Ukrainas un Gruzijas kā nākotnes NATO dalībvalstu mērķi ir arī alianses mērķi, sacīja NATO ģenerālsekretārs.
